Great classic hotel in the middle of it all

Pros: The location was great, the views were great, the room was just fine for a solo traveler, the balcony was a great bonus. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Great cheap and delicious food nearby, easy to walk everywhere and easy to get to the subway etc.

Cons: Not a big deal for me, but the soundproofing could be an issue for someone else

Pros: The room was quiet and warm. It was central to everything we needed

Cons: The room was a bit small for two of us. Coat hook on the wall would have been good as it’s winter and freezing outside wearing coats hats gloves etc having somewhere to hang them rather than the small wardrobe would have been good. Also the beds were very hard.

Pros: Great location, amazing room with large comfy bed, and great views.

For the price, this is a great option for a stay in Manhattan in an excellent location.

Pros: Great location, with cafes and shops nearby. There are two subway stations within a 10-minute walk. There is a gym and two saunas (Finnish and Turkish) on the basement level. Everything is a bit dated, but functional.

Cons: The hotel inside looks a bit tired; the balcony door didn't close tightly, so the room was a bit drafty. Housekeeping has to be requested (activated via a panel).
