SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan Times Square

A great hotel, centrally located and very comfortable.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, close to Times Square, very clean room, excellent breakfast and very nice friendly staff. My wife used the fitness centre which was well stocked with equipment etc, again very clean. The only minor drawback, the AC temp was a little cold for January being 68f. Not a lot of space to hang clothes in the hotel room and no extraction fan in the bathroom. The hotel in general is first class, offers exceptional value for money, offers a great breakfast and complimentary hot drinks in the hotel reception area with cookies. Please remember to tip staff who clean the room and dining area staff and others who offer good service. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel, it had everything we wanted including a Microwave and refrigerator and complimentary coffee in the room. It is in a great location and we felt very safe. A top stay in New York.

Amazing

Pros: Great location, just an one minute walk and you’re on Times Square. The room was very clean. The breakfast buffet had different options everyday. Staff was nice. Hot chocolate, coffee and pastries availiable in the lobby everyday! :)

Pros: The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Perfect location...right at the heart of Times Square making it easy to explore the city. Comfortable beds, relaxing ambience...

Great location but that's about it

Pros: The location was the starlight of it. Room was very clean, we got 4th floor room so no great views but it was alright.

Cons: There was a lot of noise in the hallway, early in the morning, breakfast was cold, not enough variety and for the price I would expect at least a bottle of water in the mini fridge.

Pros: The bed was excellent, very comfortable, and spacious. Breakfast was rich and varied, and I especially enjoyed the fresh fruits and cereals.

Simply perfect, half od Manhattan accessible by walk

Modern, clean, central and very comfortable!

Pros: Breakfast was fantastic, great options which changed daily, very helpful staff too! The buffet was set out in such a way that kept it very hygienic too. Location of hotel was literally 2 minutes walk to Times Square but still the hotel remained quiet apart from the odd siren. The lobby also has a complimentary hot chocolate bar and coffee station with fresh homemade cookies available too which I thought was a nice touch! The whole hotel is very clean, our room was serviced daily and reception staff very kind and helpful too

Cons: Nothing at all, we really enjoyed our stay!

A good hotel in a good location. Just stock up on ripe bananas.

Pros: Good location, near Times Square. Not too far from the metro to travel out further. Buffet breakfast was good overall. Stored our suitcases before we could check in allowing us to freely check out the city that afternoon.

Cons: For breakfast they put out hard green unripe bananas that by the following day looked like no one had touched. Seems people wanted riper bananas like I do. The shower door kept sliding open, so had to use towel draped over the top to keep it shut. Why hadn't the room cleaners informed the hotel of this issue. Having to pay $50 per night incident deposit, although refunded, wasn't aware of this before hand. Following two hotels didn't do it.
