Pros: I stayed on the 17th floor and the views were incredible. The room was perfect for one person, and could comfortably accommodate a second, although the wardrobe space is somewhat limited. Breakfast is served à la carte, which was a nice touch (not included in the price of the room), and the bar is excellent.

Great team, great service!

Pros: I stayed at The Standard, East Village for two weeks in January. They kindly upgraded me to one of their suites at a discounted rate, which I greatly appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel truly welcome. The suite offered a wonderful view and plenty of space, with two cozy rooms. I could tell the hotel team works well together and has great camaraderie. I was pleasantly surprised that the doorman, Dom, even remembered my name. The Cuna restaurant downstairs was another highlight. It serves delicious Mexican food, and the service was excellent

Pros: Location is excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. View from the room was incredible!

Pros: Nice size room with good shower and opening window. Quiet room in 12th floor

Cons: Lower floor rooms can be noisy due to street activity but also the noisy bar / club

Cons: I think each room should have a little kettle / coffee instead of a crazy mini bar .. I know it sounds dated but I do love my warm water .. but it’s a detail ..

Pros: The location, the view from the room, the facilities, the friendly staff. Would definitely return/recommend to others.

Cons: The only reason we didn't give a 100% satisfied rating was because of the very noisy fridge in the room which we had to unplug in order to get any sleep!

Great location and great views from the 17th floor - reasonable value for New York!

Pros: Fantastic view and a lovely comfortable bed. really friendly and efficient staff. There was no kettle or cups in our room but one was provided as soon as I requested it. Great location on the edge of East Village with easy access to the subway at Astor place.

Cons: Huge bed was comfy but dominated the room - no space for a bedside table on my side of the bed. The huge mini bar was well stocked but not something we would use, and it meant limited space for our clothes (we were staying nearly a week)
