Great choice for Union Square. Did not feel like a Hyatt, felt more boutique

Pros: Great size for union square. Loved the bed and the shower. Staff absolutely fantastic.

Cons: Sound from street, but that is New York, makes it feel authentic.

Great value, large room, good location

Pros: We have stayed in many places in nyc to visit our daughter who lives near NYU. This place is by far the best place closest to her. Others are either tiny rooms or desperately need to be updated.

Great location and good standard fo NY. Lovely lobby and bar

Pros: Great location and nice lobby! The room the first two light was very dark and small. They finally upgraded me the third night on the 8th floor which was much better as I am also a world of Hyatt member.

Cons: Not a free bottle of water in the room! Some rooms have very little light. And shower was not practical

Pros: The room was small, but as expected - it's NYC. The bed was very comfortable. We were upgraded to a city view room. Even on the 9th floor we could hear the traffic outside. It did not prevent us from sleeping, though. The hotel is in a good location. Close to the subway and lots of restaurants.

Large room, great location!

Pros: The remodeled lobby & bar are beautiful! Front desk staff was was welcoming & helpful. Doorman is a bonus! Stayed in a single, king room and it was larger than most in New York City! Large bathroom & shower too! For a Saturday night stay, it was a great value!
