Glamping in the City

Pros: I loved mostly everything about our stay. The location was great, my surroundings were peaceful quiet and relaxing. It was so pleasantly strange to be so close to the city and have that much peace! The facilities were kept very clean so we were extremely satisfied with that. Initially, we were worried about how the outdoor bathrooms might be...they were great. The Byredo soaps...like a spa experience. I even looked them up online to purchase for my own home. Cons: The food at the Three Peaks Lodge was a HUGE disappointment. As beautifully presented as it was it was extremely over-seasoned and so salty our dishes were practically inedible. We were really looking forward to dinner, I even timed my reservation so that we could see the sunset and from the description on the website I thought we were in for a lovely dining experience. Although our server was an absolute doll, we had to send our first entrée back (the shrimp fettuccine) because the pasta was extremely salty. My fiancé and I use quite a bit of seasoning so we aren't afraid of flavor. Furthermore my mother and brother are chefs so we are foodies with an experienced palette. Charming place with some cons

Pros: The location of the property is obviously unique and the has the sunset view in New York City. I liked the comfort of the bed and the quality of products in the room. It was the end of the season and the place was serene. The happy hour bar with good selection of wine and food added charm to the experience.

Cons: - it was impossible to switch from the bath tub to the shower. - the AC didn’t react to the remote - no slippers in the room - bath tub was dirty With everything said it was low cost value performance even for being unique place in NYC

Pros: Glamping-Erlebnis, Blick auf Freiheitstatue und Manhattan im Sonnenuntergang, tolle Atmosphäre durch Feuerschalen

Cons: Uns wurde nicht vorab klar kommuniziert, dass wir zusätzlich 50 Dollar für einen ca. 2 Stunden früheres Einchecken bezahlen müssen. In der Visacard-Abrechnung war der Bezug zum Retreat nicht zu erkennen, so dass wir eingangs an einen Kartenbetrug glaubten. Es hat dann noch ein länger währenden Nachrichtenaustausch über die Booking.com Plattform gegeben, wobei mehrfach behauptet wurde, dass die Nebenkostenabrechnung per E-Mail an mich verschickt worden sei. Nicht schön und nur formal kundenorientiert

Pros: マンハッタンからすぐの場所にゆったりした時間を過ごせる事があることを聞いて今回は、ニューヨーク旅行に組み込みました。 大正解です。 マンハッタンと自由の女神が見えるこの場所、ベッドの中からも見渡せます。 夕焼けを見ながらディナー！ とても贅沢な時間を過ごせました。 お気に入りの場所となりました。

Cons: ルームサービスを現在されていなかったので不便さをかんじました。

VUE exceptionnelle et séjour atypique pour New York

Pros: Situation et VUE idéale entre Statue de la Liberté et Sud Manhattan. Coucher de soleil sur la statue de la Liberté depuis le site voire la tente/logement (si font de mer). Brasero, restaurant face Statue Liberté. Hébergement atypique sous tente tout confort. Accès Ferry gratuit

Cons: Limite horaire pour se promener sur l'ile après fermeture de l'ile à 18h00, il faut rester dans le périmètre du camp. Petit déjeuner inclus mais choix simpliste. Bruit des avions le soir. En ce moment travaux d'un complexe à coté engendrant du bruit le matin.

Amazing and extraordinary

Pros: Everything was beautiful. All the facilities were clean. And all the employees were very nice!

Cons: Breakfast could’ve been more. It wasn’t a breakfast in my opinion it was a morning snack.

Absolutely loved it!

Pros: I liked that I felt alone, even though there were other guest staying at the property I didn’t see too many of them. There wasn’t all the sounds of the city even though the city is just a ferry ride away. Very nice. Had fun.

Cons: The only thing I will say I did not like was the construction going on right next door. It’s 7:30 as I write this, the construction is going on. So yes right now there’s a lot of similar sounds to that of actually being in the city.

Pros: lovely simple breakfast. nice dinning on the deck. amazing morning vibe.

Cons: excessive noise at night from crazy loud party boats... the thump thump of the base music was quite annoying. we had a fan that generated white noise but it was apparent why there were earplugs next to the beds.

Comfortable and beautiful. Would have loved a higher end concierge experience.

Pros: The vibe and concept was great. Having golf cart concierge was amazing. The Peak Lodge food was delicious. I would recommend and would consider coming again.

Cons: The team was so nice, but there was a lot of misinformation. One staff member said we had to get the water ourselves, next staff member packed our ice box with water. We were told coffee was available all day, and then it wasn't. We came to dinner 5 minutes late after waiting for a very late golf cart pick up at the spa, and they refused to give us dinner, even though it's the only spot on the island to eat dinner. There was no compassion; we even asked for bread, and they made it seem like we were so wrong for even asking. The bartender continued the same vibe, unfortunately. It would be nice if there were some alternatives and clear supportive communication around it all. Made a great trip, but feel not so great on our last night. We saw the next day that the concierge had a fridge with oatmeal, and no one even mentioned that. Very unfortunate at the level of cost this trip is, it should be top-notch concierge communication. Also, it would have been nice to know ahead of time that loud party boats keep you up until 2 AM in the morning, which would have made different choices in booking if that information had been shared.
