A stunning repurposing of an old bank building in an area which is definitely improving

Pros: Only had the outrageous sticky buns!!!! We enjoyed the Lavassa set up although the machine is awfully noisy.

Beautiful hotel

Pros: Huge room, beautiful design, and lovely rooftop and speakeasy bars. There is no breakfast at the hotel except for some complimentary pastries and coffee in the lobby, which is nice, but there are some cafe options within easy walking distance.

Simply wonderful

Pros: Elegant facade, quirky yet chic lobby, beautiful rooftop bar, comfortable and spacious room. Felt like a Wes Anderson film set :) Danielle at the front desk could not have been more friendly and helpful. We loved her! She put our experience over the top into “exceptional” territory. Valet staff was great, too.

Cons: Loved the shower and bath products… Only complaint is there is no hand held shower, just the overhead. It was fine but for a well designed boutique hotel like this, it would add to the luxury shower experience.

Great spot for a weekend getaway!

Pros: the staff and management were extremely understanding when we found some personal items left behind in our room. when we reported the items to the front desk staff they applied a discount and then another discount was applied later by the manager when the staffer told them what occurred. i was very pleased with their attentiveness and willingness to make the situation right with us.

Cons: There were some intimate personal items left behind in our room..

The Quoin is a great find in Wilmington.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, newly converted from a 19th century bank building. The public rooms are handsome, the bedrooms comfortable and well-stocked with bath supplies, coffee, etc. The restaurant has terrific food and attentive service. The front desk staff were helpful in finding our way around the area. Coffee and pastries on offer in the morning an unexpected treat.

Cons: We weren’t prepared for valet parking only, but may have missed that in info available. It did work well, though added time.
