Good hotel, nice location - but a bit shabby around the edges

Pros: Good location in downtown Wilmington, on major bus routes but away from the main streets that might be busier/noisy. Friendly staff and comfy beds, and the linens and bathroom were clean and tidy. A great base to explore the area.

Cons: Some of the a/c grilles and ventilation ducts were quite dusty and some of the fixtures a bit battered/damaged. Couldn't help but wonder what else might have been amiss, and got the impression the place just needed a bit of TLC.

Convenient location, spacious rooms, nice place to stay when you’re with your family.

Pros: Great location, spacious rooms, good in-room coffee, very convenient and safe parking.

Cons: The ice machine on our floor was never working properly, we had to go down several flights to find ice. The food concession in the lobby could’ve had a bit more variety of muffins and other breakfast pastries, but what they had was OK.
