Pros: Very good location by the Delaware river. Amazing facilities and spacious rooms. Really outstanding in terms of comfort. Lots of parking space and amazing breakfast.

Large room that was well appointed.

Pros: Buffet breakfast was excelllant and had a good variety of food and fruit. Better than most hotels. We also liked the late checkout.

Cons: The privacy blind was broken and we could not pull it up and look at the nice river.

Pros: A very modern, new, clean hotel where we felt comfortable. Location on a pleasant promenade by the river.

Cons: The service was great, but the breakfast was up to North American standards. In Europe, this would be an acceptable minimum.

Really good safe hotel in great location.

Pros: Very good breakfast, i never ate in the bar at night so I can't comment on the food but during the 7 nights I was there I didn't see anyone eating there. That might have something to do with the huge portions you get for lunch. Some nice places to eat all within 5 minutes walk of the hotel and there is a lovely riverside walk at the back of the hotel. Across the road is a baseball stadium and an Imax cinema. I was there for my sons graduation in Newark so didn't spend a lot of time in Wilmington but what I saw of it it looked nice and was only a 35 minute ride from Philly airport.

Cons: I was on the 2nd floor had zero views (looked at a wall for 7 nights) so try and get a bit higher up if you can. The waitress at breakfast was a bit too keen, I put my glass of juice down and went for food, came back and she'd cleared it up.

I booked my parents for a staycation and they didn’t mention anything negative about Hyatt Place.

Pros: As per my parents feedback, breakfast was great. I’d also like to say my interaction with the staff (Louis Nock)through email was a true definition of what customer service should be. I’d definitely stay here when I visit Wilmington.
