Great hotel in a very convenient location

Pros: I liked the hotel style, even though the room was quite small but it was modern and quiet. I also liked the concept of the breakfast and the location of the was also very good.

Generally excellent!

Pros: Location, friendliness of staff, character of hotel, the Tusk bar!

Cons: Cold bathroom and lack of heated towel rails / radiators to dry clothes after some very wet days! We didn’t use the breakfast vouchers as there were better options outside the hotel!

Pros: Great location and good breakfast on the go. Complimentary glass of wine in the evening, and complimentary water was a really nice touch.

Cons: Cleaners were very noisy and one day our room wasn't cleaned at all

Great hotel for tourists looking to be out and about in NYC and not spending too much time in the hotel.

Pros: Staff were all lovely and attentive and the location was perfect for exploring New York. The grab and go breakfast was great and staff for so speedy and on it with the orders. We missed the free wine hour as the days didn’t align for our stay but a great perk!

Cons: The room was quite small and slightly tricky once you had your luggage and two people in it but everything else made up for that.

Stunning decor!

Pros: We had a great stay at The Evelyn! Our first stop for NY and everything had a great vibe; the rooms were beautiful and the Tusk Bar was the perfect way to unwind. We were stuck indoors with the recent storm foe a day but the Cafe and bar meant we didn't need to worry at all! Highly recommend, especially for the stunning decor, food and history.

Cons: Everything was great, nothing to dislike.

Perfect for Nomad/Chelsea stay

Pros: Very central, nice atmosphere, efficient breakfast system, friendly staff

Cons: Water system was a bit odd requiring visits to reception or the gym. Lifts could also get overwhelmed at checkout

Luxury in the city

Pros: The location of the hotel was good, very central and easy to explore all areas of the city. The art deco style of the hotel gave it a luxurious feel. The included walking tours and wine hour were really nice additional free activities. The breakfast was just right portions and there was a good choice.
