Hotel Five44

very enjoyable, hope to stay again!

Pros: very nice location, miguel was exceptionally kind and had a very cute dog from time to time, kitchen came fully stocked with equipment but it was rather small, not an issue tho!

Cons: the front door buzz opening noise is So loud, and because people come in at different times you will hear it periodically.. a family was also screaming at the top of their lungs, at 8am.. that wasn’t great. but that’s not a fault of the property. the shower is inverted so we spent a bit just showering in freezing cold water to only find out a day before departure it was inverted 🫣 but otherwise the pressure was phenomenal and definitely worth the wait LOL music does play up til like 10pm starting at 8am (quietly, but we were by the lobby so it was louder)

Lovely little find out of the way of the noise but close to times Square

Pros: This was our second stay at Five44. It's a short walk (15-20 mins) to Times Square but in a quieter area of Hells Kitchen which has a lovely vibe with much better priced places to eat. Michele the owner/manager is brilliant, really friendly and helpful and let us leave our cases on our last day. Price-wise this was one of the cheapest hotels we could get. It's not a top of the range chic hotel, but was very very good value for money. 2 double beds in our room, and the mattresses are lovely and firm and supportive which I needed after walking many miles every day and having a bad back and neck from a car crash years ago.

Cons: There's nothing not to like really. I'd stay again.

Pros: Location was good for walking to Times Square (about 15 minutes) and Central Park the apartment was clean and staff helpful

Cons: It didn’t worry us but the apartment was a little dated just saying for peoples expectations

Pros: Room was a great size with two double beds. Small kitchen. Good size bathroom.

Cons: Beds was a bit too firm for me but daughter found them very comfortable

Pros: Location was fantastic. Beds comfortable and the kitchenette was a great addition and handy to have

Cons: No elevator so it was a little difficult transporting large heavy cases

I enjoyed my stay and think it was good value for where it was.

Pros: Good location . Close enough to walk to Times Square. Staff member was friendly and helpful.

Cons: The mattress was not wonderful and the towels thin.

Pros: Good location, quiet neighborhood, room has tv and small kitchen. Manager very easy to reach by phone with any questions. Good value.

Pros: The guy who checked us in (sorry cannot remember his name) was very helpful from start to end of our stay Our room was on the 3rd floor and there are no lifts,however on our return after leaving our luggage in the store room having arrived off a cruise before check in time he had taken our luggage to our room. Also he arranged transport to the airport at the end of our stay,and it was cheaper than us booking an uber ourselfs. Yes the carpets are tired as mentioned in other reviews etc but for us the location was just ideal,next block up there are plenty of shops and bars. We would definitely use the hotel again.

Cons: Found the air con unit noisy at times. No lift so we would request a room on the 1st or 2nd floor next time..we are a couple age 65 and 70 and after being out walking all day the stairs were a little hard going!

Ideal place for anyone who doesn’t need luxury and where location is key…

Pros: The room was perfect for what we wanted. Somewhere to sleep and wash with a short walk to Times Square. Clean fresh bedding and quiet at night.

Cons: Room could probably do with a bit of a makeover, paint walls etc

Great Location, very well received, just a really bad internet connection.

Pros: We were very well received by Mishel. The hotel is locatel in a area very close of restaurants and clubs to try.

Cons: The internet was really a bummer. We couldn't keep the connection and end up calling my family from a McDonalds.
