Pros: The Intercontinental Hotel in New York City, Manhattan, has a great location, and our room offered a fantastic view of Midtown. It was spacious, and the king-size bed for my wife and me was wonderfully comfortable.

Cons: Unfortunately, despite Booking.com clearly showing a bath alongside the shower — which was the main reason we chose this room — there was no bath. My two little princes were clearly disappointed about this. When I raised the issue with the hotel, I didn’t feel taken seriously, and the only solution offered was a downgrade to a lower-category room. On top of that, the sofa bed for the kids was barely usable and far from comfortable. Overall, I expected more from a hotel of this standard.

Pros: The location is great, most of the staff are good and friendly

Cons: I have requested a room in higher floor , however they gave me in floor 6 they said based on the amount I have paid, and when I booked through booking it is not written that the floor is restricted.

Fantastic.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent and see below. Loved being in the middle of the theatre district. The non-slip shower mat was very reassuring.

Cons: Breakfast for one was enough for three! Far too big and thus expensive. Please offer child or senior sizes not to waste so much. My room being right on 42nd and 4th floor did make for a lot of noise.
