Great location.

Pros: The location is great, it is a charming hotel where you feel the years in the atmosphere. The room was spacious but with no city view.

Cons: There is nothing in particular

Perfect hotel to explore New York!

Pros: Everything! The location is fab, central to lots of the main sights and within walking distance of many of them too - Rockefeller center, Times Square, Central Park to name a few. And you’re never far from a subway to get around the city. The hotel also has a lovely traditional style which gives it character. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. And the bar, Randolph’s, is a lovely space for a nightcap after a busy day sight seeing. We read the negative reviews about long lift wait times but didn’t experience this however might have been the time of year we went (Feb UK half term). Would highly recommend staying here and we’ll stay again when we return.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: We were here at Christmas time. The hotel has great location and the view from our window was nice. The room was very clean and very comfortable for us.

Cons: We had to wait for the elevators for a really long time.

Great location, great value for money and generally a lovely hotel!

Pros: The hotel is art deco style and the rooms are lovely. Comfortable pillows - an absolute must! Would just have liked a kettle to make tea. We aren’t all coffee drinkers!

Cons: The restaurant only served breakfast but not dinner. We didn’t use it at all, but would have done if it opened for dinner.

Very clean, centrally located hotel which is ideal for families sharing.

Pros: Location is amazing, lifts work fast and rooms were clean.

Cons: Bar staff spent more time chatting up people they wanted to talk to and ignoring others waiting, but these things happen and wouldn’t let one persons approach impact the score.

A favourite to stay at when we come to New York

Pros: Comfortable and spacious room with a great view. The bar downstairs is a favourite of ours as we can come in for a drink at the end of the day and just head up to bed.

Cons: The elevators take a little while so be prepared to wait. Minor issue though

Top location with the best staff.

Pros: The location of the hotel is super and the staff was superb.

Very good hotel with generally lovely staff and a really nice room.

Pros: Location is fantastic. Just a block or so from Central Park Park and very close to Times Square. Staff at front desk extremely accommodating- checked us in earlier without even being asked.

Cons: Hotel bar closed before 10.30 pm on a Friday night even for residents. I thought this was very poor. I understand charging us for keeping our bags when we have checked out of hotel but they also charge if your room isn’t ready when you arrive (which isn’t your fault! ) I think if you’re going to be a guest this should be included in the price when you arrive.
