Great location, friendly staff

Pros: Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help

Cons: The room was quite old and tired looking with the shower being quite dirty (old dirty grout etc rather than surface dirt) and the floor being quite stained

I would revisit, if we will be in Manhattan anytime later.

Pros: Placement was right in the heat of Manhatten. Time Square was like 30 seconds away. Lots of places to visit nearby. Public transport within reach. Really worth to stay if you are about to explore!

Best location for times square

Pros: Location is incredible 45 second walk to the viewing station on times square

Cons: The Rooms are very standard and beds could be better but the amount of time I spent in my room I didn't care

Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re on a budget and new to New York

Pros: The location is excellent!! Within walking distance to Times Square and the subway. The stay was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: The shower pressure was non-existent and the shower didn’t drain properly and was always dirty.

Great location, friendly staff, would return again

Pros: The location of the hotel is incredible, it's about a 3 minute walk from the hotel to the ticket booth for Broadway shows in Time Square. The staff were really helpful and friendly. One of the receptionists had a tough day when we arrived as there had been a water pressure issue, but he was great. The room was clean and we had fresh towels every day. Couldn't fault those things for the price and had good aircon too. I travelled with a friend and we were given 2 double beds. My friend was furthest from the bathroom though and went home with bruised ankles as there was only about 15-20cm between the end of the bed and the wall (but we both agreed a bigger and more comfortable bed was worth it). We took a taxi to the hotel on arrival, but did the train on the way out. I'd definitely recommend the train if you can cope with lifting your bag up / down the stairs of the subway

Cons: The toilet flush was weak - it took at least 2 flushes for any liquid and paper to go down. Then a few more for more serious deposits, which on one occasion actually returned to the bowl... Maybe something to do with the water pressure the day before - but a bit of a surprise :)

Great central and convenient stay in New York

Pros: Location was spot on, very close to Time Square, 42nd Street and 49th Street Subways. Convenient walking distance to Hells Kitchen, Rockefeller Plaza and Summit One. Liked that Serendipity Dinar was next door - A bit expensive for breakfast but food was good.

Cons: The price we paid was just a bit expensive considering the size of the room. In contrast, I paid a quarter of the price for a Tokyo room, same size, level of cleanliness and central location. I realise that it's a totally different city but wonder why NY is so expensive.
