I would encourage others to experience what we did

Pros: The location is excellent. Everything is within reach. Makes it an excellent place for holiday and work.

Loved our stay with many attractions a short walk. Subway was close by and the view from the room was wonderful.

Pros: The service and location was outstanding, the king bed room had plenty of space for our luggage and the bathroom was clean.

Cons: There are no fridges in the rooms. Some of the chairs and linens were aged and worn.

Great Location, Close to everything, warm and cosy rooms

Pros: The location was 5 star! We were a stones throw from Times Square, Penn station, Bryant Park, it was an amazing location. Concierge were really helpful and friendly upon arrival as were the check in staff. We stayed 4 per room (we booked 2 rooms) and the size was perfect for us. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the staff member that served us was so lovely (we were a bit jet lagged and he was very patient with us).

Cons: We ate in the bar/restaurant another evening and the experience was not so great. We arrived and knew from the last day it was a seat yourself place, so we went to the only free table (that hadnt been cleared from the last people there, but we didnt mind). The waiter that was in that area (David) was annoyed that we tried to sit at the table and shouted at us. As we went to step away and let him clear it my niece knocked into him by accident and he rolled his eyes, shook his head and walked away. He took his time clearing the table then and was clearly annoyed by us. He came back to take an order from us, but we werent ready to order and this annoyed him even more. He wouldnt come back to the table then so I had to find him and he came over and says 'Oh.. are you ready now?!. He took half of the order and went to walk away and I had to tell him we werent finished which again annoyed him! He took the rest of the order, made an audible sigh and walked away. He practically threw the cutlery at us and brought 4 waters to the table for a table of 5. We ate the food, charged it to the room and left (I didnt add a tip). They must not be working for tips in that restaurant. I was so annoyed, it made such a great experience a little sour.

Great stay. Loved the staff and location.

Pros: Staff were fantastic. All very helpful, proactive and accommodating. Great location. Easy walk to attractions and public transport.

Cons: Plastic cups in the bathrooms. For quality of the hotel thought it cheapened the offer.

Perfect base for a family trip to New York

Pros: Location is amazing, staff were super helpful and rooms a comfortable haven to come back to after a busy day!

Pros: Hi We loved the location, we loved the rooms. We liked the front desk service at check-in and check-out.

Cons: At the entrance to the lobby downstairs, the service was a bit cool, and what do you mean? We were with luggage, there were 4 people at the entrance (service people) we were less interested in them, they were waiting for the big cars, we came with luggage, it is very difficult to enter the hotel through revolving doors only without help, no one directed us to the elevator, we needed an elevator because the counter is on the first floor and not downstairs. The bathroom lights turn on automatically, which is a nice idea, but in the middle of the night when you go to the bathroom, they turn on very brightly and wake everyone up. I suggested either installing an option to cancel it, or an option to reduce the lighting intensity.
