Would be staying again and recommending

Pros: The room was very spacious, and comfortable. The location was excellent. The hotel bar was perfect, with the cocktail list! The staff were always very pleasant and helpful

Cons: The lighting in the room was very poor. There was no vanity mirror in the room itself, only a floor length mirror and the lighting on this mirror was not suitable for makeup application.

Pros: Comfortable bed, balcony and very friendly and polite staff

Cons: Maybe I should have asked so I am not going to blame, but lack of drinking water not visible

Great hotel in excellent location

Pros: The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfy, nice bathroom. Excellent location

Cons: The air con was extremely noisey and had to switch it off over night.

A brilliant return to NY after many years was made even more special by the Gotham Hotel

Pros: Location. Bed was super comfortable. Shower had good pressure. Room was the perfect size for a visit to NY. Clean. The staff were informal in a very professional manner.

Cons: The loo didn’t always flush first time. No boiling water to make a cup of tea

Simply lovely!

Pros: Loved the location, walking distance to Grand Central Station and other attractions, and the boutique size of the hotel. We also loved its unique architectural features, and the on-site restaurant is excellent. The outdoor decks on upper levels are cozy places to enjoy the midtown scenery. We totally enjoyed our stay and our interactions with the professional staff at the Gotham. Will definitely keep The Gotham Hotel on our list of top choices for a stay in NYC and recommend it to others.

Cons: Our only complaints are that the TV reception wasn't the best, and the bathroom had no towel bars. Also, updated phone charges are needed on the nightstands.

Great stay, a little noisy

Pros: The room was clean and spacious with housekeeping every day..

Cons: Not sure it's the hotels fault but each morning, we were woken very early with the sound of bin lorries (which we understand but noisy) and on one morning a lorry was sitting outside for a good 25 minutes with it's engine running.. we were on the 5th floor facing the street.
