Old school accommodation in Central Manhattan with delightful staff and buffet breakfast included

Pros: Buffet Breakfast was excellent and varied each morning, the staff are delightful and engaging. The location is central in Manhattan

Cons: The room was very tight to move around in and heating was very effective and slow for temperature to drop in the room (so you could sleep at night)

Good space, very welcoming. Room could be a bit more comfortable now that the price has increased.

Pros: Good, staff is kind. Atmosphere always feels warm and inviting.

Cons: Good, just a bit noisy in the halls and beds a bit hard. It would be a plus to include one more pillow or a little bigger ones. Can the heat be controlled? I was way too hot and couldn't find any way to control the temperature.

Pros: The location was fantastic. I walked to most of the popular attractions. Metro also very close by. The staff were amazing. So warm, helpful and friendly. Yes, the place was old, and a bit shabby in places. But my room was clean, bed very comfortable and plenty of hot water for a good shower. Free breakfast which I wasn't expecting was very substantial, with good choices.

Cons: Not so much didn't like, but to say the room was sooo hot! It was very cold outside, I admit, but stifling. Had to have window open. Thankful I was at the back of the building otherwise could have been noisy

A beautiful, serene place to stay in New York, close to public transport and restaurants, lovely ambience and comfortabl

Pros: Beautiful older building, clean and comfortable, lovely central heating, excellent complimentary breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, nice little extras like drinks and cookies in the foyer to enjoy when returning to the hotel

We enjoyed our stay and particularly liked our window that opened so plenty of fresh air and a lovely outlook to the hot

Pros: My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the Leo House. It is conveniently located to the subway and is very central for exploring Manhattan. We found the fresh fruit and breakfast spread to be lovely. This hotel is excellent value for money and although it is basic hotel we found it to be homely and welcoming.
