Would definitely recommend for tourists. Rooms aren’t big or fancy, but clean and comfortable.

Pros: Great location for seeing NY on foot. The bar is a nice touch. Adjoining cafe makes great coffee and yummy breakfasts to get set for the day. We walked one day right down to southern tip of Manhattan, and often to Times Square and Broadway. Very easy subway access.

Cons: Rooms are very small, but not an issue if you plan to be sightseeing all day. Comfy and cosy to sleep. Clean bathrooms with hot water. We stayed during long NY freeze. Electric space heater made room a comfortable temp.

Pros: Very nice rooms, dense but perfect atmosphere. Well maintained and the place has an overall very nice and relaxed vibe.

Cons: Would have liked to see the rooftop bar but it was seasonally closed. But that is not a real issue tbh.

Awesome, Under The Radar Hotel in Manhattan

Pros: We had booked for 5 nights in New York but there was a massive snow storm and we had to extend our stay over two rooms for an extra two nights. The staff were amazing, from check in to housekeeping and Hero for hugs! The location is a 15 min walk to Union Square, only 2 mins to Madison Square and plenty of subway options very close by. The hotel is so quiet for NY (we stayed on the 12th Floor fyi), and had a queen premium room. The size was perfect - plenty of room for two people, and a decent hairdryer! We discovered a blackout blind behind the Venetian window blind on the day that we were leaving so make sure you check this out! There is a cafe downstairs that serves breakfast but we went out, however I did get a flat white and it was delicious. There is also a water machine to top up your water bottles! We would defo return in a heartbeat and would recommend.

Cons: Nothing!

A super choice!

Pros: A cool welcoming and well located central hotel for NYC - really enjoyed the vibe, decor and ease of using the hotel.

Cons: It was a bit annoying that although it was a family friendly hotel there was no way of grabbing a drink from the bar and sitting elsewhere with under 21s - probably a New York thing but odd for someone from the UK and the bar looked brilliant.

Pros: The staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room was cleaned daily and maintained to a high standard.

Cons: The window did not seem to be properly insulated, which allowed cold air to enter and affected the room temperature.

Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again as our experience was fantastic

Pros: The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere and the styling of the hotel was fantastic. You felt you were in New York rather than in a generic hotel anywhere.

Cons: The mattresses weren’t the best.

Pros: Great location, great restaurants, pubs and bars nearby.

Cons: New York needs to do something about it's trash/management, some sidewalks with loads of accumulated garbage.

Brilliant

Pros: Great location! Walking distance or subway to anything you need. Gym was brilliant for a hotel gym - spacious and lots of equipment. Free water bottles every day. Room cleaned every day with fresh sheets and towels. Friendly and helpful staff. Room pretty spacious for a NY hotel room! Decor lovely.

Cons: Hallways a bit dimly lighted and run down Staff were cleaning the gym one morning I was in it and I nearly slipped on the way out because they must have mopped it (but didn’t leave a sign!!!)
