Clean, comfortable stay, really close to subway station.
Pros: Convenient location. Clean rooms. Friendly reception staff. Free coffee and bottled water. Good air conditioning. Breakfast not provided but there is a great bagel place two doors along the street.
Cons: Difficult to contact the hotel by phone in advance (to ask for our 2 rooms to be close together). I was told to call different departments, and no one seemed able to help so I gave up. But shortly before our arrival I got an automatic email asking for special requests, and it was all fine in the end.

Pros: The hotel staff is exceptionally dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction. Their service disposition is unparalleled compared to many other hotels. The service is truly outstanding, especially from the door ambassador, Mohamed Shetaya.

The nicest boutique hotel in Empire State Building area.
Pros: The staff are great: so friendly, so helpful. Chuck at the door is the beating heart of the hotel, a man with a welcoming smile, takes the time for you is always ready to help with whatever you need. It's a boutique hotel that ticks a lot of boxes, rooms are quiet and perfectly comfortable.
Cons: There was no real bar area until the weather improves and the roof terrace opens for some pretty amazing views. I also missed a breakfast area, although the street is filled with great little breakfast places to take out, so you won't go hungry! The gym was cute, but 3 is a crowd.

Was very satisfied for a downtown Manhattan hotel in mid-summer. Even better stay than mid-town!

Smart hotel in a great location
Pros: Well located hotel that made most things on the island walkable on our trip. Staff were great. A few doors up from a great bagel shop, so our breakfasts were taken care of. Would happily recommend.
Cons: I understand space is a premium here, but the size of the double bed was a bit of a struggle.

Pros: Excellent location, 5 Min walking distance to Broadway, quite, well managed hotel, friendly staff. Spacious room (Junior Suite) and bath room.
Cons: Basically nothing to complain, but only one rather small wardrobe despite a very spacious room.

Great service, comfy beds, superb location
Pros: The service was fantastic. We arrived almost at 4 a.m. from long hours delayed flight. They took us immediately to our room and did all the administration on the morning. That we appreciated a lot!

Good room, not so great on the breakfast.
Pros: The room was great, beds were narrower than in other hotels but that was expected for a room in NYC. The room was clean and in good shape, the shower was great. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Cons: All sounds from the elevator across from our room carried right through the door. With that, and the sirens regularly heard from the street, there weren’t very many quiet hours to the night. Breakfast was served in an adjacent café, which was continuously out of half of the things on their list. Not much to choose from for the breakfast that was included in the booking price. They shouldn’t offer that option if they can’t provide.
