Quirky hotel

Pros: I liked the unique decor and the location was very convenient.

Cons: I didn't feel like the cleanest property and the facilities were bare bones. The lighting in the shower room was dim and it was difficult to see in there.

Relic of yester-year cool.

Pros: Style. Nothing else like it. Relaxed vibe and a treasure in a very good location. (Actually quiet at night / less noise than expected).

Cons: Sink should have paint stripped off it (gives impression of not being that clean).

Pros: The hotel was very quirky,a famous poet lived here so u can see why they kept the decor as it is. Tea n coffee in a little room always hot and ready.an old cat on his chair always sleeping. Lovely comfortable,clean beds and towels..hot water.. Met 2 guys alternate on reception desk who were very nice.. Lots of eating,drinking places around hotel good prices. Down side... a little far from where we wanted to go, Hotel doors locked ,but gaps around door so didnt feel safe ..BUT after 1st day we settled and was safe,front door noone could get in az u ad to have a code..so secure.. A good comfortable stay

Cool hotel, amazing location! Great if you don’t mind sharing a bathroom

Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Cute cat. Cool design! And of course great price for this neighborhood!

Cons: 1 wc/ shower for the entire floor.. 12 rooms on our floor… not the cleanest. Also we had a lady our our floor playing music and singing along loudly at 1:30 in the night. Not ideal, but not the hotels fault :)

Pros: Location, location, and again location. You stay in Manhattan just in a 30 minute walk to Times square. Public transportation also is available. There are many options around for dining out as well

Cons: Actually there is a hostel not a hotel. I booked a room with a private bathroom so it was more comfortable compared to a standard room. However it is still a feel of a hostel since you listen to noise from neighbours etc.

Lovely place and people

Pros: The staff were super friendly, perfect for rest while discovering the city! The cat is just so adorable!! I highly recommend it its a charming place to stay and totally worth the price for the location.

Fair and quite a nice stay

Pros: The staff gave us a better room and thanks for that, we appreciate that very much. The room and the bathroom were fairly clean.

Great spot with great value

Pros: The staff could not be friendlier. The room was eclectic, but clean. Close to subways. If you go in not expecting 5 star rooms it is absolutely perfect as a base location to explore. We felt safe and comfortable the entire stay. We had our 11 year old and she loved Ned the Hotel cat as well as the hotel.

Cons: If I could have one complaint, it can be noisy from outside...but this is NYC, so it is to be expected.
