Wyndham Garden Chinatown

Nice little gem

Pros: Nice hotel in the centre of Chinatown. Within short walking distance to several metro lines. There is a restaurant onsite at lobby level, and breakfast in the basement. I had a high floor with a view, which was spectacular. The bed was really comfortable. The Asian gentleman who supervised the breakfast was really lovely and polite. A special shout out to him!

Cons: There was no ramp at the entrance for wheelchairs or people struggling with heavy luggage If there was, and I didn't see it, it wasn't pointed out to me as I struggled with my suitcase. Only 1 bottle of water per room per stay was a little mean. The soundproofing between the rooms wasn't great.

Amazing location, amazing stay

Pros: Great staff and stay for us! Smack bang in the middle of china town, such a great location with so much going on around the hotel. Great room size for the cost in NYC, corner room overlooking the town which was such a great thing to watch from above. Easy transport location, 16 min walk to brooklyn bridge, right around the corner from Manhattan bridge, close to FiDi and so many great food spots!! Decent breakfast included and amenities. Stored our luggage no issues. Unique environment and would come back for sure.

A very enjoyable stay. Thanksgiving parade was absolutely brilliant.

Pros: Excellent location for the subway - flat rate with credit card a brilliant simple system. Area has a real buzz to it. Plenty of ocal Chinese + Italian restaurants. Room was comfortable and fairly quiet. Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight but we were staying over the Thanksgiving period - so busy busy.

Cons: A bit of a wait to get into our room but we did arrive early.

Excellent hotel. I would highly recommend staying here.

Pros: The location was perfect for us. The view was amazing! A beautiful NYC skyline. The room was comfortable and luxurious. Claudia on reception is excellent. She knew the hotel really well and knew how to resolve the issues we had having booked each of the three nights separately. She made it easy and was friendly and helpful. Outstanding customer service. We will definitely come back next time we are in New York.

Cons: The breakfast was nice, but the room didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the Hotel.

Pros: Room was a good size Balcony was an added bonus, but a shame it was shared with others Shower was good Staff were nice

Cons: Paper plates at breakfast were a bit crappy

Excellent location

Pros: It's exactly that I was looking for my stay in NYC. The main tourist attraction is easy to reach with plenty of transport links nearby..

Cons: The bar at the top floor should offer some snacks with the drinks. But we enjoyed the view though.

Perfect hotel for my business trip - large rooms, good location and friendly staff

Pros: Large rooms, comfortable beds, good sized bathrooms, good sized desk.

Cons: Breakfast buffet was average. As someone who can’t eat breads or pastries I was relying on the eggs but they were too dry to consume

Reasonable price for this super handy location. Staff was friendly. Room we stayed was small for 4P

Pros: Location is in the heart of the Chinatown which is super handy. Metro station is only one block away. Possible to park overnight on the nearby street.

Cons: We have 4 people but the free breakfast was for a max of 2 per night per room. The room we stayed was small for 4 people.

Pros: We loved our rooms. Very comfortable nice finishes and the most spectacular view of NYC. Claudia on reception was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Cons: The breakfast room didn’t really fit with the quality of the rooms. However, the breakfast was nice.
