Great Location and Friendly Staff.

Pros: Friendly staff. Great location. Beds more comfortable than you'd expect. Other guests seemed really nice. Really wish we could have stayed longer. Our experience really added to our New York adventure. Would definitely stay there again. Would be great to see the NY crew once more, they really looked after us. Thanks Manhattan Bowery Lodge!

Cons: Took a minute to get into the swing of things. Attendant was friendly, but probably could have spent a few moments to show us facilities in more detail. That said, we soon caught on. Gotta get used to the proportions of the room, but everything worked out ok. Can't dis the Bowery Lodge. Solid crew.

Pros: The place looks just like the photos. This was our third time here, and the staff is very friendly. They even offer coffee, which is great for your mornings. The beds aren’t very comfortable, but for the price you’re paying in NYC, it’s perfectly fine. Special thanks to the lady at reception, she was very kind and attentive with us. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to spend a lot of time inside the hotel, this isn’t for you. But if you’re out exploring all day and don’t mind some noise or a small room, this place is ideal. Even when sharing a bathroom, there’s almost always one available. Chinatown and the surrounding area are very cool and authentic!

Pros: Very clean, and the receptionist was so polite and helpful, a very kind person, was super helpful to support me fixing the mistake I did in my booking regarding the dates

Cons: they were small rooms with thin walls but that was to be expected given the price

Pros: The property is very clean and the staff are lovely. It is very basic but that was perfect for a weekend trip where you just want somewhere to sleep and shower. They offer free coffee/tea and water in the mornings and have a small concession store with noodles and other food for reasonable prices.

I would definitely stay here again! It was a clean, comfortable, and well located stay!

Pros: Expecting the bare necessities -- a room with a bed -- this place was great. The bed was clean and comfy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Peng. The hotel is safely locked up, so I felt very safe. The bathrooms were cleaned very regularly. The coffee was always fresh and available, and there were even some bonus snacks available sometimes. The location was awesome, easily able to walk anywhere in Manhattan or hop on the subway.

Cons: I didn't like the things you should expect when you stay here, as you read in all the comments, but none of it bothered me too much. No window in the room is the biggest drawback, I never knew if it was morning, would sleep too little or too much as my body didn't know when to wake up. It is noisy, you can hear every little thing happening in the hallway and other rooms, but it didn't bother me, everyone was respectful of the noise they made. Bathrooms are clean, but aged.
