We visited to celebrate our birthdays and were well taken care of

Pros: Beautiful room with a perfect view. 10/10 shower! Location was great for exploring, a short stroll to grand central or other subway connections. Writhing walkable distance to Times Square or 5th ave. Lots of restaurants and bakery’s close by too. Staff were friendly and helpful - available 24/7. The room was cleaned daily, with towels refreshed daily. Premium toiletries provided - a shampoo worth using!

Cons: My only criticism is some of the furniture or flooring throughout the hotel looked a little worn. A few chips in woodwork ect but a minor detail compared to the great room and service

Fantastic and would recommend.

Pros: The location was ideal for us and the Cognac restaurant adjoining was good. The wine tasting is a nice touch.

Cons: Lack of a main lobby.

Cons: The balcony needed some attention ,dead plants and old chairs. Such a shame as we did use it a lot but it just need a few live plants and made a bit more pleasant to sit

A few days in Manhattan

Pros: We spent a few days here and will be returning. It's a very nice hotel in the eastern part of Midtown Manhattan. Clean, no bugs. We had two suites, one with a balcony overlooking the intersection of E. 48th St. and Lexington Ave. It's a perfect place for conversations on warm nights.

Cons: My only complaints are the poor lighting in the bedroom and the unclear policy of charging for bottled water in the room. This should be improved.

Well worth staying at.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and did their best to accommodate my early arrival. The room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. There's a kitchenette in the room, which is very convenient. Ample window for lots of natural light. The restaurant in the lobby for which a breakfast voucher was given was quite good and the breakfast menu was varied and of good quality. I enjoyed a different breakfast each day. The location of the hotel is good, too. It's close to midtown but outside of the hustle and bustle of the busiest areas. So, it was relatively quiet and the lobby wasn't packed with people waiting to check in or whatever (as I've experienced in hotels closer to, e.g., Times Square).

Cons: The room was a bit small compared to other hotels in the surrounding area I've stayed at, but not uncomfortably so. While I like having a kitchenette, this one's fridge was stocked with the hotel's drinks, which took up most of the space when I wanted to use it for things I bought at the supermarket. And there were no utensils (e.g., spoons, forks, etc.), so be sure to have some plastic ones in your suitcase (or get them from the supermarket if you buy something there).

Pros: Nice area, close to many attractions. Great welcome on arrival and staff friendly throughout the stay

Cons: Breakfast only available from 8am, so didn't have breakfast first day. Could do with brighter lights in bedroom area of the suite.
