Good hotel in a great location
Pros: Location is great. Jazz in the afternoons with a hot drink was very welcome.
Cons: Bedrooms are dark and wardrobe space very limited. The bar / lounge area is cold in parts. Staff were very mixed; some lovely and others very unhelpful.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Pros: Ideal location and lovely atmosphere. Some of the additional touches including the live jazz, hot cider etc were very much appreciated.
Cons: Bedroom storage is limited and the room is tight and dark. The staff were mixed; some were very pleasant and helpful (including the manager) while unfortunately the female receptionist on arrival was unkind and dismissive.

The view of New York from our bedroom window was spectacular and our stay there was remarkable in every way.
Pros: We loved the location of the property and planned out trip accordingly. The breakfast in the Society Café restaurant was delicious and the menu was fantastic. We enjoyed walking the short distance to Soho to see the cast-iron buildings and NoMad in particular. Our meal in Da Andrea’s right across the road from the hotel late in the evening was a highlight as was a visit to Blue Note jazz club. We will be back again soon to stay in the Walker Hotel Greenwich Village.
Cons: The hotel was comfortable and stylish so we had no complaints.

Great stay
Pros: Lovely boutique hotel. Great location quieter than midtown, easy to access West Village, Soho etc
Cons: Rooms are a tiny bit dark but this is very much in fitting with the hotel style which is very nice. Ideally there would be an extra light in the bedroom overhead.

Perfect Village Art Deco relaxed ambience
Pros: We loved the ambience of the hotel- the lobby was so relaxing after a long day sightseeing. The staff were super friendly on the desk. Rooms are small but great view from 16th Floor of Empire State Building. Great to have daily free water.
Cons: Hotel too small to hang any clothes- so for a 5 day stay loved out if suitcase as no drawers or hanger space.

Pros: good location. room fine, staff very accommodating and friendly, nice touch providing coffee 'on the go' in the morning. Breakfast was 'very generous' . Concierge was very helpful with luggage and travel advice to JFK was spot on.
Cons: Would recommend having avail 'porridge and/or cereal grain' as alternatives. lounge was small than appeared but accept it's New York space in Greenwich is premium in these building 'of character'. The lighting rather dim (but maybe an 'american thing?'. Was a bit uncertain about the opening times of the bar area vs the front lounge. Are they separate? Used to having hotels of this type having a bar area open till later in the eve as part of service.

Excellent spot for a New York break exploring the city.
Pros: The location was perfect for exploring Greenwich village and midtown manhattan. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful.
Cons: Tea making facilities for us English tourists would have been a bonus.
