Excellent location with spacious rooms and a pleasant view

Pros: Excellent location with spacious rooms and a pleasant view. Despite construction work across the street, the Empire State Building is still visible. The hotel restaurant is a real highlight — great food, especially the breakfasts and pizza. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Cons: Minor issue with the wardrobe not closing properly, and the rooms could be slightly better maintained.

All you’d expect from a dentally located Manhattan property

Pros: Well located - less claustrophobic than downtown properties - I appreciated that they accentuated my request to move to a higher floor

Cons: You could wait a while for a lift

Pros: Rooms are very comfortable including beds. Hotel with quiet ambiance.

A simple hotel that does what it needs to do! Superb location.

Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location, close to subway stations and 5th Avenue. The doormen were really nice and friendly, as were most of the reception staff. Our room worked quite well for us, as we were two adults and two children and we didn't want to get two rooms. It was a squash but not terrible, and the bathroom was large by NYC standards.

Cons: Nothing really, other than that the value for money was not great, but certainly no worse than other hotels. Manhattan hotels are very expensive! One minor gripe was the shower taps were very irritating. The temperature could not easily be adjusted, it was either too hot or too cold. And the pressure was quite weak. The hotel could really invest in new taps. Even the engineer we had to call admitted the room's shower taps were old and difficult to work. There was nothing special done for us. No chocolates at night, no turn down, although they did help out with an extra 90 minutes for check out.

Very enjoyable! We will be back.

Pros: We have stayed here before. Centrally located to a lot of attractions.Three restaurants and the pizza in L‘Amico is the best ever! Happy hour every evening and they served really good wines.

Cons: 6 Avenue is really really loud. I used to live in NY but despite that it’s really loud! Rooms on west side of the building are quieter.

nice hotel, good location

Pros: nice hotel, great location. Our room was on high floor with very good view on empire state building. Room was comfortable, nice design. comfortable bed, good lighting. Lobby bar had a good choice of drinks, modern design, friendly staff. Restaurant has specific openings hours which is not really what we are used to, but that might be OK for USA.

Cons: staff on the reception was unfriendly, very formal. restaurant was very busy, you probably have to book two day in advance. no buffet breakfast No Coffee Machine or cattle in the Room ! that is Huge thing! you have to wait till restaurant is open to have a cup of coffee or tea!

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Perhaps a bit noisy

Pros: Very spacious bedroom, excellent mattress, stunning views over Manhattan skyline, nicely appointed bathroom. Downstairs located restaurant served quality breakfast, bar in the back offered lively entertainment.

Cons: Lobby was very busy, especially at afternoon, more like an ongoing party.
